Angie is not your ordinary lawyer. Her unique background, which includes working as a professional actor in film, on television, and on stage, and conducting education policy research at the University of Chicago, enables her to distill and clearly communicate complex legal issues for her legal audience.
Before graduating at the top of her class at Georgia State University College of Law, Angie received her Bachelor of Arts from Rhodes College, cum laude with honors and her master’s degree from the University of Chicago. While in law school, Angie served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Marvin Shoob of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and was named Best Oral Advocate by a moot court bench, which included Georgia Supreme Court Justice Harold Melton and former Fulton County Superior Court Judge Gino Brogdon.
Angie’s legal experience includes years of practice at Sutherland Asbill & Brennan, LLP, where she worked on issues ranging from education to securities litigation.
